I am a life long artist and learner. I am passionate about art, design, and how users interact with these elements. From museums to websites, everyone interacts with designs daily to complete their day.
Originally having a devotion for art, I pursued Art Education, however my career journey did not stop there, as I continued to expand on my hobby User Design. With my interest in User Design, I created many websites for friends, educators, and even for the University of Wisconsin system. To further my learning I took many online classes, and continue to learn about new UX design, testing techniques, and strategies to engage users with content.
User Experience isn’t all about me though. It’s about you the user, and how your interpretation of what is presented. Empathy, compassion, and realtional design help navigate even the most complex sites. Anything can be turned into a positive user experience with the proper guideance.
If you’re still reading, here are some more of my hobbies:
Continuing my design career – I often still am looking at articles and coming up with new ideas no matter what time of day. It’s really fun to problem solve design situations user go through and how to improve on them. Even building this site is exciting!
Gaming – from RPGs to Fighting games. I play everything, right now I’m really digging my Switch and some MMOs.
Running – I run a few times a week, I enjoy taking in the weather and listening to music.
Art – I create art, as well as visit it in locations all around. I spend weekends on my iPad digitally creating images stuck in my head, but when I need inspiration I just go to my favorite museums (The Chazen and The Milwaukee Art Museum).
Being a corgi owner – I told myself I wouldn’t be a typical dog mom, but I couldn’t help it. I have a 2 year old corgi and she is my life. We go on a lot of adventures together and she brings sunshine into whatever room she enters!
